We, the International League of Peoples’ Struggle, express our most militant greetings to women all over the world and join you in the celebration of the centennial of the International Women’s Day. The history and current trend of militant women’s struggle must be highlighted in the midst of the global depression and chaos that pervade the various regions of the world today.
The first International Toiling Women’s Day was proclaimed in 1911, to mark the role of the women in the industrial revolution and celebrate the gains of the women who marched to the streets to fight for their rights and welfare. During that time, the exploitation of women and children in the factories, in the fields and in their homes fed capitalism and allowed it to flourish.

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) says that all comrades are equal, and cadres fulfill division of tasks within the organization. All are subject to Party policies under the principle of the individual is subordinate to the organization, the lower organ is subordinate to the higher organ, and the whole Party is under the Central Committee.
A young cadre, however, begs to vociferously disagree that every cadre, high or low, is subject to Party discipline.
Many Party members have been meted disciplinary actions for sexual opportunism. But as the article below contends, some top-ranking officials, especially founding CPP chairman Amado Guerrero aka Prof. Jose Maria Sison, are allowed to flout the policy on the relationship of the sexes. A few are more equal than the rest, to paraphrase George Orwell in his "Animal Farm."

The call of so-called feminists to coddle Palin is really disguised sexism and based on a medieval, male-chauvinist mentality that women are weak and fragile and should be protected. We don’t need an American Margaret Thatcher, an icon and poster child for right-wing policies that harm poor and middle-class working women, the majority of women. It’s time to expose Palin for what she really is.
Some women groups and advocates are screaming that media bashing of Sarah Palin, the Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is sexism.

The cause of women’s liberation and the rights of women against sexual discrimination, exploitation and violence
At no time in human history have we witnessed such unrestrained and rapacious displacement and dispossession of women across the globe, spawning uncontrollable poverty and deprivation.
