We all know within a short time we will be heading to the polls again as a nation. It will be time to reconfigure who in Congress will fight for us– each of us. It’s time for us to figure out who is next to take us through the forthcoming chapter in US history, and choose the best path to be on until the next round of decisions.
This is the tradition observed by countless Americans since the inception of our country. In fact, it began before we were officially a nation as there came a time when we chose democracy over life under a king. It was then we chose to say time’s up to powerful moneyed interests telling us what we could or could not do, limiting our stride and hampering our journey. We said no more to putting the interests of the wealthy privileged few above our own.
The US Left is clearly doing As Little As Possible to discredit the private insurance industry out of the way of a Public health care system. How much of this "left" is for real?

We cannot trust Private Insurers with our, or our families' health administration.
For unexplained and unimaginable reasons, private insurers (or their supporters) have not yet been questioned about...
A) for-profit insurer's billions of dollars of investments in health-damaging industries, B) the conflicts of interest related to their huge investments in Pharmaceuticals, and
Wholesome-sounding legislation in this Corporatocracy is rarely wholesome or in the public interest. New "tobacco" laws are tools to exempt some of the most health-damaging industries in the land, and the world, from exposure, charges, PR disasters, and massive liabilities. These laws are not "for the kids" or "for worker protection". They are about protecting the CEOS and investors...and their paid-off agents in government. Is the “smoking” brouhaha about the health insurers that hope to kill Single Payer? Yes.

Socialists across the nation are rejecting a U.S. Senate housing bill that offers little help to struggling homeowners facing foreclosure, while providing tens of billions for banks, financial institutions and big corporations. The bill (Foreclosure Prevention Act) passed in the Senate this past week by a vote of 84-12 and has been sent to the House. The vote was clearly a major setback for millions of homeowners and a big win for banks and big businesses.
