Just because the Right Wing opposes "Obamacare" doesn't mean that The Left shouldn't oppose it as well...but for different reasons.

Wild guess:    Because the Supreme Court is dominated by Wall Street supporters,  not supporters of People's Interests, it may come to pass that the Supremes will "unexpectedly" legalize the PPACA, the Obama Administration's health care law.....which, after all, is a huge gift to Wall Street by way of Billions of Dollars that for-profit insurers invest in Wall Street interests.   This will give the Supreme Court the image that it is "fair and balanced", even to the point of supporing a black president's "socialialist" agenda.   The Wall Street angles will be ignored in mainstream media.   Fake "lefties"will cheer because "affordable" (i.e.

Vermont Enacts Conditional Universal Healthcare Coverage - by Stephen Lendman

Numerous previous articles discussed Obamacare, described accurately as a rationing scheme to enrich insurers, drug companies and large hospital chains in lieu of universal single payer coverage.

Obama hailed its March 2010 passage as answering "the call of history." In fact, Ralph Nader was right calling it a "pay-or-die system that is the disgrace of the Western world," costing double what other Western countries spend and delivering less, rationing care to enrich corporate providers while making a dysfunctional system worse.

Health care bill, now in hands of the Senate, ignores every industrial threat and harm to health. It finds that people's behavior is the biggest threat. Could this be because all Senators are economically-linked to health-harming industries, AND their insurers and investors? Sworn and public-paid Congress members wouldn't go AWOL on their solemn oaths and duties to the people, would they?

If it were not for people, there would be no Health Crisis.

The legislation the Senate is discussing now is quite interesting and telling by what's there, or not.

See: http://democrats.senate.gov/reform/patient-protection-affordable-care-act.pdf

A convenient search tool at the site finds the number of times a word appears in the legislation:

If a Critical Mass of the public actually knew what the Heatlh Care Brouhaha involved, both lefties and Repugs would unite in opposing current and planned policies.

FOURTEEN Reasons to Reject Corporate Options for Health Care

Day-long health care rally at Liberty Bell receives good news partway through: the Senate health care bill will include a strong public option with a tolerable compromise (opt-out vs trigger).

MoveOn sponsored a rally next to the Liberty Bell going from 5:00am to 10:00pm (Military/European times: 0500 to 2200) where readers could read the entire HELP House health care bill aloud 10 minutes at a time.

Howard Fineman, usually a "Villager" (Blogger term for members of the press corps, meaning of "Village") in good standing, goes off the reservation and talks about the prospects for a good health care bill in good, sound, common-sense terms:

SiCKO While the debate goes on in Congress, the watered down health care plan looks more and more like a give away to the giant health insurance and pharmaceutical industries. Meanwhile 45,000 people in the U.S. die every year for lack of care. If you haven't seen Michael Moore's important documentary on health care before, now's your chance. If you saw it before, it probably wouldn't hurt to see it again - a refresher course on why we need real health care reform, including the important public option. 7pm, Tuesday, Oct. 27 Calvary Church, 48th & Baltimore . Join us for discussion after the film.
