John McCain appears to be a far more devoted neocon than George W. Bush ever was. Could this be what uber-neocons like William Kristol (or McCain himself) mean when they refer to McCain as a "maverick"? Early voting has begun in some states.

Some people are urging sober political Conservative Republicans who don’t like an extremist social agenda, to be upset that the religious fringe, (since McCain is and old man who had rough unhealthy physical experiences) could very likely try to dominate US policy if and when Sarah Pain becomes President.
