Sad Irony, Afghan Elder near Kandahar shot dead

Abdul Rahman urged Afghan President Karzai to stop the invasion of Kandahar, as reported by Lyse Doucet of BBC but somehow he was too close to the Afghan government for the likes of the Taliban. Because Mullah Omar has or had a strict Talban code of ethics, he was probably either ordered to do more or to stop something he was doing on the pain of death that he only half complied with.

I hope looking how incredibly unfair war is will help us think harder for peace,
