Join us at  "LOCKHEED-VILLE (where the profits of war matter and people don't)"!                 
The "Lockheedville..." vigil will demonstrate the reality of the domestic casualties of  U.S. war economy and will include large shanties set up in front of the Lockheed Martin complex as well as large banners reading: "Lockheed Martin...War Economy: Most Suffer, Few Profit" and "Lockheed Martin is Making a Killing!". The shanties will be imprinted with: "LOCKHEEDVILLE (where the profits of war matter and people don't)".

The demonstration is part of a decades old and ongoing campaign of nonviolent resistance to Lockheed Martin, the world's largest weapons corporation, the Iraq war's chief weapons profiteer, the U.S.'s chief nuclear bomb and space weapons contractor.

The Brandywine Peace Community's Fall '08 - Winter '09 direct action campaign series will also include a Martin Luther King Day of Nonviolent Resistance and civil disobedience at the Valley Forge weapons complex of Lockheed Martin.
