Some Obama supporters are avoiding Troy Davis to avoid bringing up the subject of race

Meanwhile, when politician opens their mouth, listeners end up with a vaguer idea of what is really going on including Nader, (can’t he say a few words about Troy Davis) but not Bob Barr of the Libertarian Party and Cynthia McKinney of the Green Party, and Obama, only when he is discussing the death-squad government in Columbia and the need for worker rights' in our international trade laws. Perhaps we should pick our leaders the way the Dalai Lama is, that is appointed from childhood. http://www.phillyimc.org/en/node/76891
I want to post a suggestion on supporting Troy Davis’s innocence while avoiding the subject of race but I already hogged the front page with overlapping articles, on the subject so I will post it as a clink on able link. Please post link or content to other sites?

Adults Sometimes Get Punished For What a Child Does,
Submitted by Anonymous (no verificado) on Vie, 10/24/2008 - 1:17pmWhen one think of adults punished of what a child does, one thinks of truancy laws and parents going to jail. However, Troy Davis is facing execution Oct 17, since he is the only adult available to be executed, since Sylvester Cole was too young to be executed, and the police were determined to punish an adult for the crime.
With lawsuits, the person with the most money is the one usually sued. Troy Davis in Georgia was not the only older person punished for what a young child did. In Pennsylvania, Kevin Brickley was 15 and old enough to be given life imprisonment, though not to be executed, but his younger brother Ronald would have been out of the punishment system when he became 21.
Death penalty advocates like to quote an eye for an eye, but some clamor for death when a child rape victim is left bruised and bleeding, and for big time drug dealers. Some clamoring for "3 Strikes & You're Out,” and no probation or parole. The US is a country of precedents. We have the precedent that you don’t have to be the triggerman in and armed robbery to die, if Troy dies, we have a vague precedent as to what armed robbery means, though he might have left the scene as he claims, when Cole ordered him to get out of his way. Troy who wasn't know as a hot head, not seeming to be upset until a relative mentioned that the TV said the police were looking for him, a precedent for what reasonable evidence means, and the precedent of many Americans especially Obama supporters not paying attention for political reasons, of not wanting to stir up racial tension right before an election.
Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Sudan, China and the US are sliding in the wrong direction, because of capital punishment, elsewhere it's easier for Afghanistan to contemplate capital punishment for the crime of converting to Christianity.
The government created political hysteria while they framed the Rosenberg's for giving the USSR the Bomb, despite months earlier having grilling George Koval's acquaintances after he escaped back to the USSR, ordering those grilled not to tell anyone about Koval, blog.nj.com/njv_frank_askin/2007/11/another_big_lie_exposed_after.html [See George Koval in Wikipedia, it’s not cross-referenced on the Rosenberg page.] But back then,no percentage of the American public was party to that government sponsored murder.
If Troy dies, instead of many blaming the courts politicians, voters too worked up over politics, or pretending nothing happened, I think the best way to honor Troy's memory is for all of Troy’s supporters to get involved with freeing Kevin Brickley.
Obama haters condemned him for being friends with Reverend Wright then turned around and condemned him for betraying a friend. Oct 28, a McCain ad might subliminally say that Obama betrayed his race and the same time declare how much McCain supports Capitol Punishment. We need to post this text or this link as far as we can, or better yet write better statements that avoid race, and stop the precedent of so many Americans knowing an innocent man was about to die without lifting a finger to stop it.

I wasn't totally clear
Submitted by Anonymous (no verificado) on Vie, 10/24/2008 - 1:32pmI wasn't totally clear that both McKinney and Bob Barr of the Green Party strongly speak out on such issues as the blockade of Cuba and call for Troy Davis an innocent man not to be executed. Obama makes stronger statements against the death squad government in Columbia and the need for human right's and worker's previsions in trade laws than any candidate, And the government of Columbia has expressed alarm over it. While Nader just quietly states he is against capital punishment not trying to convince others to agree with him. Barr makes the strongest statements against the bailout but I'm not sure his far reaching plans really makes sense. However I plan to vote for Obama unless Obama's lead in Pennsylvania is double digit.
