PHMC to Celebrate New Name, New Look

Event on November 18 at the Academy of Natural Sciences

What:               On November 18, 2008, Public Health Management Corporation, formerly Philadelphia Health Management Corporation, will host evolution! PHMC’s Brand Celebration.

Who:               Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC), a nonprofit public health institute, has served the greater Philadelphia region since 1972. Since then, PHMC has grown to encompass more than 250 programs and 9 affiliates that connect more than a million people to the vital services they need in the areas of health care access, substance abuse treatment, homelessness, HIV/AIDS prevention and education, welfare-to-work services, violence prevention, transitional housing, family and community services and more. PHMC’s extensive health data and research have influenced hundreds of public health interventions and policies across the region.

When:              Tuesday, November 18, 2008, 6 to 9 p.m.

Where:            Academy of Natural Sciences, 1900 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia

This event will bring together some of the region’s most influential business and health and social service sector professionals for a lively evening of food, entertainment and celebration.
