Watch footage from Philadelphia-area Republican rallies on October 8 and Oct. 11.
WARNING: these videos document ugly hatred, racism, ignorance, xenophobia, and well, see for yourself! ...Including the monkey doll meant to be Obama, ie "Little Hussein".

The blogger Emptywheel documents the very bipartisan concern over the McCain camp's hatemongering and while Howard Kurtz asks on CNN "Why are the media this week pumping up this story about McCain and Palin's crowds as if it is their fault if there's a bit of ugliness that breaks out?" A guest of his answered:
"When your vice presidential running mate goes around the country saying Barack Obama is palling around with terrorists, and when you run ads that say, you know, he's a liar, he's not telling the truth about this unrepentant terrorist, and then you wonder why people in the crowd shout out 'terrorist' when you mention the name Barack Obama, this anger is coming from somewhere. It is being ginned up by a campaign, and it is logical, I think, to assume that these people are only responding to what they have heard from the candidate's mouth. And it's fair game and it's, in fact, responsible for us to report how the crowds are reacting."

Let's take this in another direction. How many times has conservative pundits gone after Democrats because of off color things said about President Bush by people who simply support their candidate? Should McCain and Palin not be held accountable. And remember a woman once called out Hillary Clinton with the B-word, and McCain simply laughed. All of this crap that's coming out now is making that look tame by comparasion. Imagine how these scumfucks are going to be when Obama wins!

What quotes did folks like best?
While the "Little Hussein" curious george doll was totally an AmeriKKKan classic, my favorite might be "commie faggots".
And, above all, the arrogant, unapologetic tone of those Republicans with a camera in their face, probably takes the cake.
Serious concerns
