The Five are five Cuban men who are in U.S. prisons,

serving four life sentences and 75 years collectively, after being

arrested in September 1998 and wrongly convicted in Miami in 2001.

Gerardo, Ramón, Antonio, Fernando, and René were falsely accused by

the U.S. government of espionage conspiracy and related charges. But

the Five’s only “crime” was to peacefully report on CIA-backed

Miami-based terrorist groups in order to prevent attacks on Cuba. They

never possessed classified information or weapons, nor harmed anyone.: 587285

On 9 separate occasions, theU.S. government has denied entry visas to Adriana Perez (top) and

Olga Salanueva (bottom) to visit their imprisoned husbands. It has been almost 10 years since they last embraced. Their visitation rights must be respected!
