Philly Childcare Collective Volunteer Training

We are the Philly Childcare Collective!
Our goal is to provide free childcare for activist meetings and community events by linking groups with trained childcare volunteers. We want to make it possible for parents to participate in activism without worrying about finding a babysitter. We see childcare as a political act and are excited about supporting groups that are working towards racial and economic justice.

*Volunteer Training: Sunday August 24th from 1-3pm at Studio 34, 4522 Baltimore Ave in West Philly*

The goal of the training is to build skills in providing quality childcare.
We are planning to go over some info and practice in child development and age appropriate activities, special needs, conflict mediation for youth, more info about the collective, and of course fun and games!

This training is free and open to everyone. New volunteers are encouraged to come!
