Join Training for Change for an innovative training for trainers who want to increase their creativity at inventing activities in a liberating and fun learning environment.

If you are a newer trainer looking to expand the range and variety of your toolbox, an experienced educator who wants to spice up your existing curriculum or anyone who wants to learn how to design impactful and engaging workshops – this training is right for you!

At this training you will learn:

• Strategies for making smart design choices based on the group you are working with.
• How to sequence your activities and exercises to maximize the effectiveness of your workshop.
• How to develop new tools and activities or morph old ones to fit the needs of the group you are working with.
• New ideas for working with participants through visual, auditory, kinesthetic learning channels.

Training for Change’s approach is rooted in activism and popular education, incorporating lessons from cutting edge fields of training work. We invite trainers who want to apply these skills to a variety of fields including grassroots organizing, community groups and co-ops, non-profit work, classroom teaching, youth and student leadership development, and alternative education.

The sliding scale for this workshop is $135-$300, includes meals and housing for out of town participants.
