West Philadelphia, PA - Visual Artist Michael B. Schwartz presents a multi-site installation entitled “Gaia” that interrogates Global Climate Change from January 18 - March 1, 2008 with an installation in the windows of 130 South 36th Street and a larger installation at the AIRSpace Gallery 4013 Chestnut Street. The general public is invited to join the artist for a multidisciplinary opening reception Friday, February 8, 6-8pm at the AIRSPACE Gallery, featuring live soundscapes by the acclaimed musician Bill Fieger and a performance by the extraordinary Jodi Netzer (www.jodinetzer.com), both of whom will explore the theme of Gaia and the Climate Crisis.
