Next Saturday, October 20 (eve of the 40th Anniversary of the historic March on the Pentagon in protest of the Vietnam War) Join the Brandywine Peace Community 30th Anniversary Radical Peace Walking Tour of Media, PA (birthplace of Brandywine Peace Community).
11AM, Gather in front of the Delaware Co. Courthouse, Veterans Square & Front Street, Media, PA (directly across the street from the former site of the Media FBI office and Draft Board), parking available in front of the Courthouse which is easily access by the #101 69th St.. Terminal to Media (get off at Veterans Square and walk one block north to the Delaware County Courthouse
The Radical Peace Walking Tour through Media will last about an hour and a half, walking about ten blocks and making stops at various historically significant sites of peace action and lineage to the history and on-going work of the Brandywine Peace Community.
The Radical Peace Walking Tour will conclude about 12:30PM with lunch and celebration, with readings, poetry, music by Tom Mullian at Media Monthly Meeting, 125 W. 3rd Street, located behind the Delaware County Courthouse.
