In February Mrs Jiang, a Philadelphia resident pregnant with twins, was forcibly separated from her family and taken into custody by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE). ICE began deportation orders, taking Mrs Jiang to NY. During the time Mrs Jiang was in ICE custody she was handled roughly, refused food, and ultimately Mrs. Jiang lost her twins.

March 15th is the Tenth International Day Against Police Brutality and a day to support all people, from all nationalities, who have suffered state violence.

Presently Mrs Jiang has a stay of deportation until August. The event has alarmed the Chinese American Community. In this interview, Todd Wolfson and Martin Lautz sit down with Jimmy Chang of the Philadelphia Hoyu Chinese American Association and Helen Gym with Asian Americans United.
