 The City of Philadelphia is fining people for bogus trash "violations" and cutting essential services, while at the same time spending $1.1 Billion on prisons, courts, and oppressive police containment targeting the black community!  There's got to be a better way!  The only budget for our city is one that supports the basic human rights of all its citizens. The African-led Uhuru Movement demands community control of schools, housing, and healthcare, and genuine economic development in the black community.  As lovers of freedom and justice, we in the white community support the forward-thinking programs of the Uhuru Movement and want to see real change!  Come to the People's Townhall Meeting on March 26th and see the real solutions from the African working class, demanding the People's Budget for true social & economic justice and prosperity to unite our city!
