YOKO NISHIMURA, Ph.D.
DIRECTOR, HIROSHIMA CITY INTERNATIONAL HOUSE,
HIROSHIMA PEACE CULTURE FOUNDATION.

Yoko Nishimura is a friend to local peace activists and activity, from her many years living in Swarthmore, PA, doing peace studies research for her Ph.D. She is en route to the NPT Review at the United Nations and related activity in New York City (http://www.reachingcriticalwill.org/), along with two councilors from Hiroshima City, as part of the large Japanese delegation, many of whom are survivors ("Hibakusha") of the U.S. atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, August 6 - 9, 1945. Yoko's mother was killed in the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. The cry from Hiroshima is: Abolish Nuclear Weapons.

Hosted by the Peace Center of Delaware County, and co-sponsored by the Brandywine Peace Community and Delaware County Wage Peace & Justice, you are encouraged on Wednesday, April 28, to attend the potluck supper, presentation, and discussion with Yoko Nishimura, a Hiroshima witness for the abolition of nuclear weapons and peace.

The Peace Center of Delaware County, within the Springfield Friends Meetinghouse, 1001 Old Sproul Rd., in Springfield, Delaware County, is located just off the corner of Old Marple and S. Sproul Rds., right behind the Mr. Car Wash. For directions visit www.delcopeacecenter.org
