On Thursday July 1, 2010, my brother Darryl Anderson was walking up 52nd Street towards Chestnut, going to the store where officer McGrudy of the 18th District stood.

 
Then, the cop turned towards Darryl and asked him, “Why are you following me.”
 
Darryl responded by saying, “I’m not following you. I’m going to the store.” At that time, McGrudy demanded his ID.
 
Darryl then patted his pockets, realizing he didn’t bring his ID outside with him. He had just left the house.
 

In that moment, McGrudy gripped him up by his shirt and said, “I should lock ya dumb ass up now!” The cop let him go by shoving him.
