Think he is inocent but know he is no terrorist
Submitted by RichardKanePA on Lun, 11/09/2009 - 4:01amI doubt if Mumia ever killed anyone. However I know Abu-Jamal feels empowered by all his writings not by the Barrel of a Gun. I know that the Black Panthers never sniped at police cars or uniforms.
I know that people accused of terror lost their Constitutional and in prison right, and suspect that Tigre Hill and the Inquirer wants anyone accused of a heinous crime to be treated the way terror suspects are.
I know that Marc Lamont Hill did not have the freedom of speech to support Mumia but was fired from Fox News instead. Vance Jones lost his post in the Obama administration for the same reason.
I suspect that a US proud of torture and human rights abuses under a President similar to the former Vice President Cheney, and much more wealth in the hands of the rich is on Fox New's, the Inquirer's and Tigre Hill's agenda rather than an execution. Not that in the long run they wouldn't mind having both.
Maybe it's time to fear a new Joe McCarthy Fox News hysteria rather than just worry about Mumia
