Strikes me as an overly-conspiratoral view
Submitted by Rich Gardner on Dom, 06/14/2009 - 8:52pmIn the early 1980s, Ronald Reagan's people claimed that the revolutionary movements in Nicaragua and El Salvador were simply the result of "outside agitators" and it seems that Sudborough is claiming much the same thing for democratic movements in the Mideast/Eastern Europe.
I certainly agree that the CIA is ceaselessly trying as hard as it possibly can to alter and influence political movements as far as it can, but these scenes from Tehran before the recent election don't strike me as being just the result of manipulations. Seems to me there's a lot of genuine hunger to bring about change.
Here's a Facebook page (You have to belong to Facebook to read anything. Signing up can be done for free) on Iran election fraud.
