From what I read about the case, the boneheads were up on attempted murder which then went down to aggravated assault, which then went down to simple assault. All of this after the cop saw them put the gun to the guy's head and they split the scene. Then there was that one other Nazi who was supposed to be their leader getting cleared on everything. So they did get a pass on a lot of shit that the average person would have been in jail for a long time ago.
