In Philly of June 2005 Skateboarders joined together to not only express our dissatisfaction with how we are treated but to also prove that skateboarding is is a prevelant and positive force within the community. The day, simply referred to as civil disobedience, is a HUGE insult. Police applauded, made conversation and even asked for autographs. In fact, the only reason skateboarders were asked to leave was due to the fear of a violent riot erupting as the protestors neared the park later in the day.
