The FBI arrested James O’Keefe, the conservative filmmaker whose undercover videos at ACORN field offices severely damaged the advocacy group’s credibility. He was pretending to be a phone company employee, messing with a Congressional Representative's phone system

Update: Crooks & Liars warns that if these would-be smear merchants are not prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, we can expect to see more characters like this crop up. C&L also makes a very strong circumstantial case that O'Keefe's employer Breitbart, either said "I know you're up to something illegal, don't tell me the details" or he knew all about it and is lying when he claims innocence.
Damage to the ACORN Brand short lived

streets. I fact most have not heard about the negative publicity, whom else are we going to help us at no cost.
That branch helped me and my family in a crisis moment, long live ACORN
