Rebecca Doran spoke on behalf of the Kevin Cooper Defense Committee, and explained that San Quentin death row prisoner Kevin Cooper has filed his last appeal to the US Supreme Court. Last week, the state responded with their filings, arguing that Kevin should be executed. A decision is expected from the US Supreme Court as early as the end of November.
On November 8, 2009, the SF Bay Area Mobilization to Free Mumia Abu-Jamal organized an event at Centro Del Pueblo in San Francisco. The event focused on three innocent men who may soon be executed, depending on upcoming court rulings: Troy Davis, Kevin Cooper, and Mumia Abu-Jamal.

this convicted killer ever taken a lie detector test administered by someone NOT hired by the defence? Tho it's not admissible in court, it would be nice if Jamal would do one as to his affidavit...and throw in Billy cook also as to his affidavit.
Again, the test must be administered by a highly qualified examiner...independent of the defence or prosecution. Do you REALLY believe a defence attorney let that happen...notta.
