On Thursday, May 1, 2008, The Rotunda will unveil the Collective Imprints art installation, a collectively-produced work of visual art that celebrates the life and history of The Rotunda, local history and folklore, and visions for future neighborhoods and communities.
Collective Imprints, the first project of its kind in Philadelphia, is unique in that it employed dialogue, movement, music-making, and holistic collaboration from all participants.

Civil Resistance to the wrongdoings of U.S. regimes has a long, and honorable, history. In his well documented tome, “Protesting Power: War, Resistance, and Law,” Professor Francis A. Boyle captures the essence of that story. He explains how “civil resistance” differs from “civil disobedience.” He also cites cases, where he was involved as an attorney and/or expert witness. Professor Boyle's book is, indeed, timely and needed.

There is one and only one documented case of a Bush administration attempt at a follow-up 9/11, and it was perpetrated against Congressman Ron Paul's 14th Congressional District in Texas, against the Texas City BP refinery. It occurred on 1/31/06 -- 2 years ago -- and it is finally about to be discussed.

The recent flap over what were interpreted as coded, abstract or insinuated insults regarding Barack Obama’s electability as a black candidate brought up a much deeper issue. The issue is relevant today more than ever as Jim Crow laws have long ago been ploughed under to clear the way for a cleaner playing field and now work is being done on keeping the weed population at bay.
