Philly is with you, Troy!

We were a multi-racial crew of women and men.  We made a large display with Troy's picture and the Global Day of Action info to draw attention.  People were very receptive, and stopped to talk and sign the petition.  Some people took a flyer, read it, then later came back to sign.  In an hour, we collected 60 signatures and handed out 120 flyers.

Several people took back petitions for their church and workplace.  People expressed their sympathy, as well as their anger at this miscarriage of justice, and said that things like this happened too often.  Many people thanked us for being out there!  We took photos, and we are going to send a story and photo to our local community paper, to help keep spreading the word.  Afterward we put the display in the front window of the Crossroads Women's Center where we are based, where passersby could read it.  Philly is with you, Troy!
