Mumia is a celebrity, what about ordinary folk!

by

Finally Pam Africa is tying an ordinal prisoner, Kevin Brinkley, in with Mumia. But if the big shot radical publications don't join her it will extenuate the idea that radicals care more about celebrities and fellow radicals than about ordinary folk.

For a similar story pick up the August 2, Delaware County Times at 69th Street subway stop or up the hill at the Library on Garret Road, and push the main library to get the Delco Times by courier instead of three weeks late by 4th class mail. Delco’s TV news is cheaper and better than the Inquirer. And it’s sports top-rate as well.

People who want to support Mumia abu-Jamal, find the criticism that they only like celebrities, the most stinging.  The rest of the criticism just inspires Mumia supporters to do more unless fear gets in the way.

Pam Africa and I think at least one or two, but perhaps many media shy young people are particularly upset with the plight of Kelvin Brinkley.  Kevin strikes a cord with 14 and 15-year-olds.  Pam has interwoven Free Kevin  Brinkley into the noon, August 9 Saturday Town Meeting at the Broad and Juniper Street Union Hall.

However, big shot Mumia supporters don’t take Move’s views seriously.  So if the Independent Media Center, IMC, and the radical press continues to ignore Kevin, it seems to prove that protestors only care about big shots.  Telling this to 14-year-olds is bad news for when they get older.

The persecutor didn’t want to charge 14-year-old Ronald with murder because his 15-year-old-brother who they pretended to be an adult made a juicier target (Just like Mumia was the juciest taget to blaim for Officer Faukner's death).  As the years went by new witnesses have pointed to Ronald, but just as with Mumia, the courts have ruled their testimony not credible.  Lately Ronald has been begging to be punished for the crime but the police have been ignoring him.  One new witness said according to the no snitch code he wasn’t supposed to snitch but could finger Kevin because he understood Kevin was covering for his brother.  If Kevin was trying to protect his little brother, it would make spending endless years in prison particularly sad.  Kids growing up and spending their entire lives and slowing dying knowing nothing but prison bars is an experience kids nowhere else of earth must face.  And someone in the US only 15-year-old kids seem upset about it.

Here are some links to Kevin’s plight.

PS Mumia’s brother Billy didn’t get charged with murder dispute the police threatening him that if he didn’t blame his brother he would be charged as well.  Usually everyone connected to the same family or same gang also on the scene where an officer was killed is also charged with murder.

The latest book on Mumia blames Kenneth Freeman, the passenger in Mumia’s brother’s Volkswagen.  Perhaps Ken ie “Poppy” thought the corrupt police officers would thank him for finishing off a whistle blowing police officer.  He had too much inside information to be charged with a crime.  Maybe Poppy was responsible for both shots against Faulkner though I doubt it.  The police had no business messing with relatives of people they were angry with.  One newspaper story was of the police storming Mumia’s mother’s apartment in her crowded public high-rise apartment and demanding that she stop her son from writing anti-police stories.

It is sad if Mumia protecting his brother from being involved in trials and tribulations of Mumia’s life, has made Mumia’s plight more difficult to defend.  Especially today when Billy could get in no more trouble than Ronald Brinkley could.  Mumia and his brother's testimony, that needs to be related to the Kevin Brinkley sage,   http://www.phillyimc.org/en/node/34590
