On 4-17-08 Palestinian-American scholar and writer Mazin Qumsiyeh will speak at the University of Pennsylvania on the Israel-Palestine conflict. The themes of his discussion will include the realities of the "peace process" during the Oslo years and the Bush "Road Map" and the disconnect between the expectations of a two-state solution and the realities of Israeli policies in the West Bank and Gaza. Mazin is a professor at Yale University and has recently published a book entitled Sharing the Land of Caanon.
