St., Phila, PA.

More than 70 groups in the Phila.- South Jersey Area have
endorsed the October 27th Mobilization to End the War. Labor
unions, religious groups, anti-war, peace, community,
environmental, and social justice groups are all coming together for
the largest anti-war expression in the Philadelphia area since Bush
unleashed war in Iraq in March 2003.
Now, Its time again to come together in a massive outpouring of
voices demanding an end to the war.

Will You Volunteer to be Peacekeeper at the October 27 Anti-War
Mobilization in Philadelphia?
Peacekeeper Training Session, Monday, October 22, 6:30PM -
9:30PM, Friends Center (Rufus Jones Room), 1501 Cherry Street,
Phila., PA
October 27th Mid-Atlantic Mobilization in Philadelphia NEEDS
people - you? - to volunteer and be trained as a peacekeeper. The
training and peacekeeping presence at the October 27th Rally &
Anti-War Festival at Independence Mall will be facilitated by long-
time nonviolent action trainer, Dion Lerman.
Is your group "adopting a block" as part of the "Human Chain for
Peace" [stretching between the VA Medical Center, 38th &
Woodland, and the Phila. Federal Building, 6th & Market, prior to the
Rally & Festival]? If so, we are asking that your group choose a
"block captain" or monitor and that she/he (or someone else in
group) attend the Peacekeeper Training Session.
