Gashouse Sessions Vol. 1, featuring Tsunami Rising, will be available as a
free album download on Tuesday May 3rd, 2011 at www.gashousesessions.com
On March 15th, Tsunami Rising played an acoustic set at the Hard Rock
Cafe in Philadelphia to a packed house. The show was put together by
Gashouse Radio and Davis Concert Staging. The show was professionally
recorded by mSound recording, filmed by Franchise Films and photographed by
Pessimistic Smile Photography . The set was then mixed and mastered by
mSound recording and released as the first Gashouse Sessions album.
The show was broadcast live on March 15th on www.gashouseradio.com
and had hundreds of online listeners. Gashouse Radio podcast their Tuesday
night show. This particular episode has had 25,000 downloads to date (the
podcast does not include the Tsunami Rising set). On Display, Joey Harkum
of Pasadena, and Kieth Harkin of Celtic Thunder also performed that night.
The album has 7 original live acoustic tracks, and 2 bonus tracks
that were recorded in the Gashouse studios a few months prior. This is the
first album in a series of acoustic sessions that Gashouse Radio and DCS
plan to release. GashouseSessions.com also has acoustic tracks available
for free download from other Philadelphia bands who've made appearances on
Gashouse Live, every Tuesday night at 8pm eastern on www.gashouseradio.com.
