Please join the Penn Institute for Urban Research (Penn IUR) and the Center for Public Health Initiatives (CPHI) for an in-depth discussion on natural disasters in urban places featuring one of the world’s most prominent disaster experts, Ed Blakely. Speakers will address a variety of issues including if and how to rebuild and the impact to public health, services and infrastructure, including water systems. The event is the third in Penn IUR’s Water Seminar Series and part of Penn’s “Year of Water.”
