Charles Komanoff is the director of the Carbon Tax Center and a long time activist on the issue of traffic pollution. He recently helped organize the Pricing Carbon Conference in November where he spoke alongside experts such as Bill McKibben and NASA scientist James Hansen. He will be visiting Philadelphia to give a PDA-sponsored talk about the "fee-and-dividend" model carbon tax that experts agree is needed to ween our society off of environmentally-devastating fossil fuels.
