On Wednesday, Nov 10, 2010 at 6:30 PM creator, host and producer of “The Resistance with Ewuare Osayande” brings a lecture series to the Moonstone Cultural Arts Center that promises to incite “riots of consciousness” one mind at time. With the mind of a scholar and the heart of an activist, Ewuare X. Osayande brings a passionate and informed discourse on the issues that shape our reality. Each month, Osayande will give a timely presentation that seeks to fill the void left by mainstream media’s failure to report the whole truth. From global to local concerns, from race, gender and class to culture and religion, Osayande treats them all with the sincerity and commitment that is his hallmark.
