Philosophy for Radicals
A How-To Workshop

This workshop provides some basic steps for creating your own radical philosophy.  Philosophical ideas are often seen as mysterious and mystical, as if they just fall from the sky.  But philosophy is nothing more than a systematically arranged worldview.  Every person thinks and theorizes; philosophers simply do it in more systematic fashion.  The workshop deconstructs the mystery of philosophy and helps participants develop their own ideas, thoughts, and concepts.  No prior experience is needed, but participants are encouraged to come in with their own specific questions.

This workshop will be facilitated by Jason Del Gandio, a professor of Public Communication at Temple University and author of the book "Rhetoric for Radicals: A Handbook for 21st Century Activists" (www.jasondelgandio.com).
