On Monday, May 9th POWER (People Organized Working to Eradicate Racism) will host an information meeting and kick-off our study group at the Paul Robeson House at 4951 Walnut Street in Philadelphia, PA from 6-8 pm. The meeting is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Make plans to attend and learn about our dynamic, life-changing and empowering workshops. We will also discuss our Dismantling White Privilege Group and People of Color Accountability Group as well as our Resisting Racism Study Group. The first book in our Resisting Racism Study Group will be _There is a River_ by Vincent Harding. The study group is an opportunity for those who have attended a POWER workshop to strengthen their awareness and commitment to eradicating racism on a personal and social level. The study group will meet on the 2nd Monday of every month at the Paul Robeson House. We will discuss the process and expectations at the Info Meeting.
