Mumia Emergency Response Mtg
The Supreme Court decision about the case of Mumia Abu Jamal could be announced as soon as Tuesday, Jan 19. The only two possible responses are 1. Life in prison 2. Re-instating the execution orders. Philly folks can meet with Pam Africa & ICFFMAJ at 7pm Monday, Jan 18 at the A-Space 4722 Baltimore Ave to plan an emergency response. Folks outside of Philly are encouraged to plan day of and day after announcement events in their communities
There is a Mumia support meeting at 7pm on Monday, Jan 18 at the A-Space 4722 Baltimore Ave in West Philly to here report backs from Pam Africa of ICFFMAJ and to plan next steps to respond to the supreme court decision. There will be day of and day after actions in Philadelphia when the supreme court decision is announced, and ICFFMAJ is encouraging folks to plan response actions in their own communities if they cannot travel to Philly.
