The Problem:
• Lack of available healthy food, clean water
• Disparities in the health care system
• Higher death rates from preventable diseases, cancer, diabetes, stroke
• The stress of systemic poverty and police occupation – colonial conditions

The Solution:
• African controlled health care
• Community gardens
• African health initiatives of the All African People’s Development and Empowerment Project
• Infant & Maternal Health Clinic

Come to learn on how you can contribute to the solutions and join the committee to build the April 2012 U.S. Tour of Nurse-Midwife Mary Koroma from Sierra Leone!

Meetings to build this event, the Tour and other APEDF programs are every Tuesday at 7pm.
