CUBA OVER OUR TIME at the Brandywine Peace Community Monthly Potluck Supper & Program University Lutheran Church, 3637 Chestnut Street, Phila., PA 
(37th & Chestnut Sts., next door to the International House) 
Bring main dish, salad, or dessert to share for potluck supper.

Cuba Over Our Time will look at Cuba’s revolutionary history, hope, and example, and, from a witness on the ground, its life and struggles now. 
The program will feature remarkable presentations and powerpoints by: 
*Deena Stryker (www.otherjones.com) writer and international free lance journalist, circa 1963 - 1966, that included doing the first Western published interview with Fidel Castro after the Cuban Missile Crisis; and 
*Sandy Dunn, lifelong educator, who has traveled extensively throughout Latin America and every year to Cuba, criss-crossing the country as part of the St. Augustine-Baracoa Friendship Association providing humanitarian aid especially in Baracoa located in the easternmost tip of the island in Guantanamo province.

Plan to attend the area's longest running on-going program for peace and justice, the Brandywine Peace Community Monthly Supper/Program, now in its 3rd decade.....held the 2nd Sunday of each month (except August), 4:30PM, at the University Lutheran Church, 3637 Chestnut Street, Phila., PA (bring main dish, salad, or dessert to share). Programs begin at 5:30 p.m.

Alert: Next working day after the 1,000th U.S. military death in Afghanistan is Announced! 5p.m. - Gather in a Solemn Vigil for Peace Phila. City Hall, west side, 15th & Market. Reading the names of the war dead; tolling the bell of peace for all (!) the war dead and casualties, and proclaiming: 8 Years of War - No More; Jobs not Wars
