 There will be a public meeting Tues March 8, in Philadelphia, about Gas Drillers' threats to the Delaware River headwaters and to the entire river.

 Join other concerned citizens at the Open Forum on DRBC Draft Regulations on Gas Drilling in the Delaware River watershed Tuesday, March 8th, 2011   5:30 - 7:30
 WHERE: City Council Chambers (4th Floor), City Hall, Philadelphia, PA
   This issue is about, among other things,  a) destruction of public forests, b) contamination of well and river water, c) air pollution, d) noise pollution and road damage from constant trucks, e) wildlife disruption, f) threat to Philadelphia's and others water supply, g) decreasing water flow volume, h) turning neighbors against neighbors, i) and widespread corruption of public officials by private resource extraction businesses.
    This is also about threats to amphibians and fish and fishing, threats to camps and other recreation sites, threats to the canoeing and rafting businesses, and whatever effects this will have on hunting.
