Angela Davis, Howard Zinn, Eve Ensler and David Strathairn Star in CELEBRATE THE CHILDREN OF RESISTANCE

Benefit screening of CELEBRATE THE CHILDREN OF RESISTANCE. This 30-minute film produced by the Rosenberg Fund for Children (http://www.rfc.org) stars Angela Davis, Eve Ensler, David Strathairn, Howard Zinn, and other prominent artists and activists. It dramatizes the personal story of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg, the genesis of the Rosenberg Fund for Children, and accounts of some of the children and families the RFC is helping today, including activists working to wage peace; preserve civil liberties; safeguard the environment; and protect the rights of workers, immigrants, prisoners and others.

The film is a testament to the power of family bonds, the value of a supportive community, and the ability to turn even the harshest repression into something positive.

Tax-deductible donations to benefit the Rosenberg Fund for Children. Robert Meeropol also will sign copies of his memoir, AN EXECUTION IN THE FAMILY.
