Act 13 is a breathtaking "defense of corporations" law that gave away municipal rights, gagged physicians, and enabled fracking corporations to keep toxic secrets from the general public and from impacted people in Pennsylvania. We want a moratorium, leading to a ban. People have a Right to Know. No gag orders. No fracking waste pits in PA -- anywhere, at all. No non-disclosure clauses. No more toxic secrets!

To celebrate the governor’s special relationship with the fracking industry the day before valentine’s day, we are going to have an event at the LOVE sculpture in LOVE park, bracketing the statue with “Corbett” and “fracking.”

We will also hear from the following speakers:

Tracy Carluccio, Delaware Riverkeeper Network
Iris Marie Bloom, Protecting Our Waters
Reverend Jesse Brown
Walter Tsou, Physicians for Social Responsibility
Sam Bernhardt, Food & Water Watch

WHAT: Short public gathering on the one-year anniversary of Gov. Corbett's signing of Act 13

WHEN: 4:30 - 5 PM on Wednesday, February 13th

WHERE: LOVE Park. Street address: 1500 Arch Street Philadelphia, PA 19102

WHO: Protecting Our Waters, Food and Water Watch, Delaware Riverkeeper Network and more.
