Pennsylvania Coast Day is a free festival for families. Visitors will have four ways to experience the Delaware River. These include free tours on the RiverLink Ferry (first 1,200 people), $5 kayak lessons, and $5 pedal-boat rides. New Jersey’s official tall ship, the A.J. Meerwald, will also be in port. Its crew is offering sailing trips for only $15 to $35 per person. There will also be numerous exhibits inside and outside the Independence Seaport Museum (special $5 admission rate). Kids can get their faces painted, make a craft, and earn a prize (supplies limited). And the fun continues when you take a free shuttle to the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center, located beside the Schuylkill River. Pennsylvania Coast Day─brought to you by the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary.
