Bully is torture
Submitted by Sam (not verified) on Mon, 07/19/2010 - 2:47amPeople should realise that bullying is torture and should be taken seriously. People think that it is a passing phase or they are over reacting. Survey shows the long term effects are depression and poor self esteem.
In India, it's 8 in 10 people. In Singapore, it's 2 in 10. It is shocking that 50% of parents are not aware of their children's problem. They are too young to protect themselves.
When a person commit suicide to escape the torture, it is one death too many. Let us rally to stop bullying now.
