Featuring music, poetry, speakers, food and a silent auction! Oronde Takuma, NYC Leader of the African People’s Socialist Party, will be speaking on the Uhuru Movement's work to unite and liberate African people from Haiti to Harlem!
Penny Hess, chairwoman of the African People's Solidarity Committee, will give a dynamic multimedia presentation on the relationship that non-African people can have to the African liberation movement, reparations and solidarity with all the resources of Africa benefiting African people.
Also performing: Leeia, a vocalist & songwriter with a vocal style that is a combination of R&B and the soulful beats of reggae, funky soul duo T & Willetz, and the African uplift poetry of Robert Gibbons.
