Jeff Mackler has written and lectured widely from a socialist perspective. His numerous books, pamphlets and articles cover a range of subjects including revolutionary developments in Latin America, the Cuban Revolution, Marxist analyses of the unfolding world economic meltdown, global warming/climate crisis, health care, trade union struggles and the fight to build the U.S. antiwar movement.  Mackler is the National Secretary of Socialist Action and was his party's 2006 candidate for the U.S. Senate in California.
