When it strikes/hits home,
Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Tue, 06/01/2010 - 1:56pmWhen it strikes/hits home, you will! You need to keep in mind that everyone that has been/is incarcerated is not guilty of a crime. Some are there because police lied on them or a hater lied on them. Some sex offenders are in jail/prison on false charges. Many public defendars/paid attorneys are offering plea bargins tricking people into taking them because they don't want to do the leg work/paperwork it takes to prove cases. Thinking they will get out automatically in one to two years when it doesn't work that way. I know a man convicted of raping a woman. He spent 13 years in prison. When ferensic science became available in his 13th year, he appealed his case and science proved that without a doubt, he was innocent/not the raper. He was just awarded 4 million after getting out and suing the city. Just to prove, everyone isn't guilty.
Furthermore, just because people are guilty and are doing the time as you say, doesn't give guards the right to physically abuse any of them. They arrest people for that same "crime" If for some reason/misfortune you end up in one of those places, see if you "Give a shit"
