Glad to hear you're amused
Submitted by Rich Gardner on Sun, 09/07/2008 - 4:24pmAnd by the way, it was the convention that gave McCain his bounce in the polls. The Democratic convention did the same for our guy Obama. We'll see after another week or so whether it had any long-term effect. The Detroit Free Press actually did a series of short interviews on Palin with Republicans, independents and Democrats. Natcherly the Republicans loved her and Democrats found plenty to criticize, but the independents were not at all impressed. Seems they didn't much care for someone who believes in creationism, but not in global warming. Palin's economic stewardship of Wassila, where she was mayor for several years is also nothing to praise. Nah, we've got nothing to fear from Palin. She appeals to the hard-right evangelicals, but that's about all.
