Hi all, Karen Porter has told me that I misunderstood her point -- that she met with the local organizer, not the GOE. This was MY error, not her lie. Because I was just learning about all these groups, I confused them. I apologize for this error, and I can understand how it would feel frustrating to the GOE folks who have commented here. I will edit the original text of my article in order to not further misunderstanding, however leave these comments intact so that people can see that it was with the help of the dialogue that I realized this error.
