Why, if "socialist promote solar and other renewable energy sources" would the V.P. designate want to stop the production of one of the main "renewable energy sources"? As long as people in this country ignore nuclear we will continue to have energy problems; the French socialist have seen fit to use nuclear energy for appx 85% of the energy needs in France.
