I was appalled by Maureen Faulkner's comment that she is unable to get past her husband's murder due to the pro-Mumia protesters, and her apparent feeling that it's wrong to raise a conflicting opinion about a very dubious conviction because it might upset someone. Sidling up with the likes of Smerconish and Joey Vento don't help either, and I'm sure the naked racism of the latter has nothing to do with his interest in seeing Mumia die [yeah, right].
There are many reasons to look askance at Mumia's conviction, but the rank bloodlust on the pro-death side won't allow for any of them.
